Refund Policy
Crown Peaks offers a 14-day money-back guarantee on membership purchases, on top of the cooling-off right South African law already gives you.
Your statutory 7-day cooling-off right
Because you buy Crown Peaks online, section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 lets you cancel the transaction within 7 days, without reason and without penalty, and receive a full refund of everything you paid. Nothing on this page limits that right, and no part of it is waived by using the app.
The Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 also applies: section 14 lets you cancel a fixed-term agreement on 20 business days' notice, and your statutory rights under section 56 and elsewhere remain unaffected by this policy.
Our 14-day money-back guarantee
We go further than the law requires. If Crown Peaks isn't right for you, request a full refund within 14 days of your order date and we'll refund your payment in full. This applies to both monthly and yearly memberships, and to renewal payments within the same 14-day window.
How to request a refund
Refunds are processed by our payment provider, Paddle, which is the Merchant of Record for all Crown Peaks orders. To request one:
- Visit paddle.net and look up your order using the email address you paid with, or
- email us at admin@crownpeaks.co.za (or use support inside the app) and we'll arrange it with Paddle for you.
Refunds are returned to the original payment method in South African Rand. Your bank or card issuer usually reflects the money within 5–10 business days.
Cancelling your membership
You can cancel at any time from your membership page in the app. Cancelling stops future renewals and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancelling on its own is not a refund request — use the steps above if you also want your money back.
Full details of pricing and billing are on our pricing page and in our terms.
If you're unhappy with the outcome
Contact us first at admin@crownpeaks.co.za. If we can't resolve it, you may refer the complaint to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (cgso.org.za) or the National Consumer Commission (thencc.org.za).
